Take care of you and your family members. Also note down the room number and name of hotel or lodge or Dharamshala in which you are staying. Also note down the complete name and telephone numbers of your family members so that in case of any miss happening you can be in touch with everyone.

While taking the bath in Ganga, also please leave one person to care of your belongings.

Take care of your valuable things while roaming out in the markets.

Do not eat any food items or any Paan, Cigarette or any such type of things from any unknown person.

Do not drink water immediately after eating the Chat.

Please do not eat any non veg food items and drink any liquor in the city of Haridwar. Consumption of any such items are illegal and un religious in Haridwar and by doing so you may punished by the authorities.

Please try to maintain good behavior with other people to whom you meet.

Please maintain the religious sanctity of Haridwar in any case.

Please keep a Hotel / Dharamshala address slip in the pocket of your children. In case your children are missed in the crowed, Sewa Samiti will help you to find your children.

Ladies are advised not wear skin and transparent clothes while bathing at Ganga.

Tourists are advised to make sure that the information about missing family members must reach the Sewa Samiti office on time so that we can start helping immediately.

Also give the complete information about the Missing or Unidentified Dead Bodies to the office of Sewa Samiti.

Medically unfit can go to the free dispensary for treatment which is run by Sewa Samiti at Haridwar.

Sewa Samiti have opened up a "Amanat Bank" for tourists wherein people can deposit money at the safe deposit and can take it back at the time of leaving Haridwar. This is a free service.
